  2. UNCW Proposal UNCW is proposing to establish a Coalition for the Advanced Study of Education (CASE) and invites CREATE’s members, evaluators, and researchers to join our Coalition.

  3. The Context • P-12 Schools • Schools / Colleges of Education • Professional Organizations (CREATE) • Accrediting Agencies • Education Evaluators / Researchers All with a massive amount of under-utilized data…

  4. The Potential to Inform Educational Transformation… Identify existing data Capturing evaluation outcomes Developing user-driven questions Capturing under-utilized information Informing responsive actions

  5. CASECoalition for the Advanced Study of Education Process Data collected Results of data study generated and manipulated would: • Inform the partner organization • Inform the stakeholders • Inform the educational community, policy makers, and other stakeholders

  6. The Pathway… • Prepare: Determine what needs to be assessed and tracked • Access: Identify mechanisms, tools, & data currently being used or easily accessed • Trace: Pull resources for multiple areas • Highlight: Create a visual of what you have and/or need • Workgroup: Form team to develop a plan • Assess: Obtain an outside review • Yearly: Conduct formative & annual summative assessments and/or state of the project
