  2. Design an Epidermis Mnemonic • Mnemonic: • n. A device, such as a formula or rhyme, used as an aid in remembering. • May be a rhyme such as In fourteen hundred and ninety-two Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue.

  3. Design an Epidermis Mnemonic • May be an acronym: a word formed from the first letters or groups of letters in a name or phrase. Ex: ROY G. BIV • May be an acrostic: is a series of lines from which particular letters (such as the first letters of all lines) from a word or phrase. Ex: Every Good Boy Does Fine

  4. Design an Epidermis Mnemonic • Pick a partner… • Design a mnemonic device to help you remember the layers of the epidermis from deep to superficial and superficial to deep

  5. Design an Epidermis Mnemonic… Requirements • Lineless Paper (10pts) • 2 Mnemonics, 1 from superficial to deep & 1 from deep to superficial (10pts) • 1 illustration per mnemonic (5 pts/10 total) • Colored (10 pts) • Neatness & creativity (10pts)
