Dual Enrollment Application Guide By Ronnie Mckinney rmckinne@aum.edu
Go to www.aum.edu and click on the “Apply Now” link Click on the “First time user account creation” link
Create a Login ID and Pin, then click on the “Login” link Scroll down to the bottom of the page. From the pull down menu, select “9-Dual Enrollment/High School” and click on the “Continue” link Note: At the time this guide was created, the option for Dual Enrollment students taking courses at AUM had not yet been approved. If a “Dual Enrollment/AUM Campus” option is not available and you believe your school allows this option, please see your Guidance Councilor.
Select the appropriate term, provide your name, and click on the “Fill Out Application” link Select each of the six information hyperlinks, and fill in the requested information. Once you have six “Checkmarks”, click on the “Application is Complete” link See Next Slide for Phone Number and Planned Course of Study Entries
For the phone number, place the Area Code in the first box, the 7 digit number in the second. If you have an extension, place that in the third box. The “Planned Course of Study” field is designed for regular students and is established so students are assigned to the appropriate “Academic Advisor”. Although you may select any option you choose, I would recommend you select “Organizational Leadership”. This will allow me to be your academic advisor of record and I can fix any issues you may experience directly as apposed to having to go through another advisor. In the future, there should be a “Dual Enrolment/Undecided” option. Please check to see if that exists when you reach this stage. Once you have completed this, click on “Continue”. You will be asked to confirm your selection on the next screen. Select “Continue” again.
Once you have six check marks, you have completed the application process and need to click on the “Application is Complete” icon. You will receive automated reminders of any documents that we require and have not yet received (Test scores and transcripts). In addition, you may receive information from me as we get closer to the Fall. If you don’t hear from me, that is an indication that all is well. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at rmckinne@aum.edu Good Luck, and Welcome to AUM
