Shikshapatri Slok 28 Aneh je manushya bhakti nu athwa gnan nu alaban kari neh stri dravya aneh rasasvad tenah vishe atishe lolup thaka papneh vishe pravarta hoy teh manushay noh samagam nah karvo None shall associate with those persons who under the pretext of preaching religion or devotion of God, seek wealth, women and worldly pleasures and commit sins.

Shikshapatri slok 27 & 28 • Chor - Thief • Papi - Sinner • Vyasni - Addict • Pakhandi - Hypocrite • Kaami – Libidinous (having lustful desires) • Kimiya adik kriyaye kari neh janno thaganara – Religious imposters • person who under the pretext of preaching religion, seek wealth, women and worldly pleasures and commit sins

  5. Shikshapatri slok 27 & 28 Chor - Thief Taking something without the owners permission/consent is considered stealing. Shriji Maharaj has written in Shikshpatri slok (17) One shall not steal others’ property even for religious purposes; and shall not take even small stick or flowers for offering to deities without the owners permission.

  6. Shikshapatri slok 27 & 28 Papi - Sinner A person who violates the moral and ethical codes laid down in the scriptures written by Lord Shri Swaminarayan. A merciless person or a person who likes to torture the poor and is cruel to the innocent is also a papi for example: Kalidutt who used to harrass Dharmadev and Bhaktimata.

  9. Shikshapatri slok 27 & 28 Pakhandi – Hypocrite & Religious Imposters Hypocrite is a person how gives false impression of their virtue or religion Religious imposter is a person who pretend to have the religious knowledge, often to gain wealth, women or social advantages (similar to slok 28)
