  2. Long-lasting objectives of the project • Providing information for Hungarian NGOs on EU matters • Giving assistance for Hungarian NGOs in their adaptation and preparation to EU Structural Funds and other EU resources

  3. Short-term objectives of the project  Information services and network for Hungarian NGOs upon EU matters knowledge  Proposal writing and consulting services on proposal writing for Hungarian NGOs  Initiation of partner-search services, consulting on the development of partnership projects for Hungarian NGOs

  4. Target groups of the project Hungarian NGOs, especially:  acting in disadvantaged local areas  active for disadvantaged social groups  acting on crisis areas such as rural areas, agriculture etc.  problem areas such as environment and nature protection, democratic culture, roma population, NGOs against discrimination

  5. Description of the project • Knowledge & information on EU proposals • Support for proposal writing • Partner-search, partnership projects on local, regional and international level • Practical knowledge on EU Structural Funds and support systems • High-standard proposals - high-quality projects - correct methodology, well prepared, good implementation, sustainability

  6. Proposed methods • Partner-search database and services • Project partner-search with personal mediation • Online EU proposal consulting service • Consultation on proposal writing on a face-to-face basis • Training materials on proposal writing • Proposal observer for NGOs in Hungarian • Knowledge on Structural Funds & EU matters

  7. Combining the methods • Thematic breakdown  partner-search for proposals  consulting  proposal writing  training and giving information • Breakdown of the service character  Internet based or online  based on personal consultation

  8. Team/Resources • 14 winner organisations - I-st turn • Preparations on the service concept (literature, web, good examples etc.) • Training workshop - Forum & online consultation on the web - separate website • Online and personal consultation • Train the trainers, study tour to the Netherlands • Professional materials and translations

  9. What do we expect from participants? • Co-operation, Learning Community • Participation on online consultation (forum) • Development of own web-pages • Participation on the Train the trainers course • Participatin on the study tour to the Netherl. • Development of the service concepts of the organisations - participation in the II-nd turn • Coverage in geographic and sectoral sense

  10. Proposed time-schedule • Internet consulation,E-mail,FAQ - continuous • Personal consultation - eventually • Online consultation 19 February , 4 April • Own web-pages from 4 February one after the other (every week a new web-site opening) • Train the trainers 19 - 22 March • Study tour to the Netherlands 15 -19 April • II-nd turn of the proposals - 26 April • Assessment of the proposals May 15
