  3. INTRODUCTION • Peaceseekers Motion Pictures is an audio Visual production company based in Accra. The company specializes in film and Television production; documentaries, corporate videos and reality television. • The company has developed a television reality show with a significant mission – promoting peace and reconciliation in relationships at the individual and family level. • This presentation outlines the concept and features of a reality show dedicated to bring people together and promoting Understanding and Unity

  4. BACKGROUND • “To err is human…..and to forgive is divine”. In other words each other constantly,(either by our acts of commission or our acts of omission) we need also to be gracious to forgive each other whenever it is requested remorsefully and sincerely. • In the same vein psychologists stress the importance of a forgiving spirit for victims of pain and hurt in relationships to get closure and to move on with their lives. • A forgiving heart is a happy heart; it is calm, serene and at peace with friend and foe alike. A forgiving heart is content and joyful and it is our conviction that as we encourage forgiveness in one individual at a time, we are helping to make this world an even more wonderful place to be

THE CONCEPT • “Fakye me”, a 30 minute Television reality show will present a person (or persons) who has wronged or maligned some one in some way and is seeking forgiveness and reconciliation. • The wrongdoer and his story will be introduced to a studio audience and in an interactive interview, his or her desired for forgiveness will be laid bare.

CONTINUATION • The person who has been wronged will be brought to the studio, through some pretext or other, and will be confronted with the wrongdoer and his desire for forgiveness. • As in Ghanaian customary practice where an elderly or influential person can assists a wrongdoer to plead for forgiveness' , a celebrity role model will be brought onto each show to help the wrongdoer to appeal to the one he has offended for forgiveness…..

  7. CONTINUATION • “Fakye me “ is a different kind of programme that will appeal to all. Week after week viewers will be presented with dramatic, touching, painful and sometimes heartbreaking and tear jerking human stories of love, hatred, jealousy and betrayal…… • There will be a resource person – a psychologist or a pastor-who will counsel the participants on how to grow their relationship after reconciliation. • It is envisaged that reconciliation will be achieved most of the time, but we recognize that some of the time it may be impossible to do so, but then it will not be for lack of trying.

  8. CONTINUATION • “Fakye me” after six successful seasons is coming back soon on your favorite TV screens. • Where the stories demand it, the show will move out to different regional locations through out the country.

  9. TARGET AUDIENCE • The primary target is the family and people in relationships between the ages of 15 and 75 plus • The secondary target would include all Ghanaians concerned with learning more about life and living and who are in relationships at home or at work.
