Goals • Opening of the Operations Building, 721 NW 6th Street. • Strengthen our Community Policing commitments through partnerships and training. • Implement and embrace DMC strategies in the neighborhoods that we serve and protect. • Collaborate with stakeholders and provide support to Commissions 2006 elimination of Homeless goal. • First Aid Mental Health training for all of our employees. • Provide a roadmap towards the implementation of some of PERF’s Staffing Study recommendations. • Roll-out Patrols 4on/4off schedule.   28. Police Reserves and Auxiliary GPD is augmented by a volunteer unit of sworn police officers known as Police Reserves & Auxiliary. This unit consists of regular citizens who are certified as Florida law enforcement officers, but may have taken a job in another field. GPD currently has: 5 Reserve Officers 2 Auxiliary Officers Of those – 2 are also Emergency Room Physicians!
