Context Title I Focus Schools • 2012-2013 ESEA waiver created new Focus School classification • 119 schools identified statewide • Ten percent of Title I schools • Lowest performing subgroups • Significant gaps • Focus School Cohort will remain in support status for four years • Next cohort will be identified in 2015-2016
