Afya Bora Consortium: Goals • The goals of ABC are to: • Develop a model programmefor preparing future global health leaders • Build sustainable capacity for global health, through training of future leaders, both in developing countries and in northern countries • Enhance practical skills building to lead large health programs • Enhance establishment of a sustainable South-South consortium that can operate an African-based training program Dar es Salaam, July 2014

Expected outcomes: Attachment sites • Experiential training is high priority. You will: • Gain practical experience on how to work effectively with an organization or a team • Identify, design, implement and evaluate a project beneficial to the fellow and site • Prepare a report of the project at the end of each rotation • Provide an evaluation report of the attachment site • Could be a trial for future employment Dar es Salaam, July 2014
Expectations at completions: Fellowship programme management • Report on the processes in the fellowship including: • Advertisement • The application documents • Interview procedures • Notification of successful candidates • Training sites • Logistic support (accommodation, transport etc) • Grant award issues Dar es Salaam, July 2014
