8. و اذا ناموسي قام يجربه قائلا يا معلم ماذا اعمل لارث الحياة الابدية. فقال له ما هو مكتوب في الناموس كيف تقرا. فاجاب و قال تحب الرب الهك من كل قلبك و من كل نفسك و من كل قدرتك و من كل فكرك و قريبك مثل نفسك. فقال له بالصواب اجبت افعل هذا فتحيا. و اما هو فاذ اراد ان يبرر نفسه قال ليسوع و من هو قريبي. And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?". He said to him, "What is written in the law? What is your reading [of it?"]. So he answered and said, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself' ". And He said to him, "You have answered rightly; do this and you will live". But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?".

9. فاجاب يسوع و قال انسان كان نازلا من اورشليم الى اريحا فوقع بين لصوص فعروه و جرحوه و مضوا و تركوه بين حي و ميت. فعرض ان كاهنا نزل في تلك الطريق فراه و جاز مقابله. و كذلك لاوي ايضا اذ صار عند المكان جاء و نظر و جاز مقابله. 10. و لكن سامريا مسافرا جاء اليه و لما راه تحنن. فتقدم و ضمد جراحاته و صب عليها زيتا و خمرا و اركبه على دابته و اتى به الى فندق و اعتنى به. "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. "So he went to [him] and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

11. و في الغد لما مضى اخرج دينارين و اعطاهما لصاحب الفندق و قال له اعتن به و مهما انفقت اكثر فعند رجوعي اوفيك. فاي هؤلاء الثلاثة ترى صار قريبا للذي وقع بين اللصوص. فقال الذي صنع معه الرحمة فقال له يسوع اذهب انت ايضا و اصنع هكذا. (لو 10 : 25 – 37) . "On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave [them] to the innkeeper, and said to him, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you‘. 13. احسبوه كل فرح يا اخوتي حينما تقعون في تجارب متنوعة. عالمين ان امتحان ايمانكم ينشئ صبرا. و اما الصبر فليكن له عمل تام لكي تكونوا تامين و كاملين غير ناقصين في شيء. و انما ان كان احدكم تعوزه حكمة فليطلب من الله الذي يعطي الجميع بسخاء و لا يعير فسيعطى له. و لكن ليطلب بايمان غير مرتاب البتة لان المرتاب يشبه موجا من البحر تخبطه الريح و تدفعه. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have [its] perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

14. فلا يظن ذلك الانسان انه ينال شيئا من عند الرب. رجل ذو رايين هو متقلقل في جميع طرقه. و ليفتخر الاخ المتضع بارتفاعه. و اما الغني فباتضاعه لانه كزهر العشب يزول. لان الشمس اشرقت بالحر فيبست العشب فسقط زهره و فني جمال منظره هكذا يذبل الغني ايضا في طرقه. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; [he is] a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.

15. طوبى للرجل الذي يحتمل التجربة لانه اذا تزكى ينال اكليل الحياة الذي وعد به الرب للذين يحبونه. (يع 1 : 2 - 12) Blessed [is] the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (Jam 1 : 2 - 12)

16. Spiritual Day • A Spiritual Day with AbounaDawod Saturday February 15th • At the Theatre Hall 11:00 – 3:00 • We will attend the Holy Liturgy Together 9:00- 11:00

17. Next Sunday, we will start by Modules first at 7:15 then the lecture at 8.30 pm by AnbaRophail.

19. Attendance • Min of 70% attendance is required for graduation. • No Changes between modules are allowed. • You can only attend in your module other wise your attendance will not be counted. • In case of absence because of a mission , each member has to get a written confirmation from his/her country leader .

20. Homework • Homework to be in hard copy • 5 Homework during the course • It is not allowed for two members to solve the HW together and send the same answer for both of them • All admin , HW , assistance will present their HWs to Mrs.HodaBadir (English & French)

21. Graduation • Certificates will be given to those who have completed : • total of 70% Attendance • 5 H.W s • Module Project / assignment • Certificates of semester fulfilment will be distributed by May.
