  2. ERC AND EU SİGNED A CONTRACT • On the 8th of February 2012 ambassador Roland Kobia, Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan signed the contract with Mr. GubadIbadoglu, the Chairman of the Board of Economic Research Center, on behalf of the European Union

Building governance and strategic management systems in 18 non-state TTs to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability of their activities A2. Strengthening financial sustainability of 18 non-state TTs in Azerbaijan; A3. Increasing research capacity for developing technically sound policy research products

Enhancing TT’s involvement in public policy processes through advocacy strategy targeting government agencies; B.2. improving TT’s cooperation with media (both traditional and non-traditional) through which the policy research findings will be communicated to the general public;

SELECTION CRITERIA • Officially registered with the Ministry of Justice; • Number of staff members (at least 3 researchers in the staff); • Total annual budget (at least EUR 8,026 ), of which about 90% are funded by international donors; • Has at least one policy research product developed and communicated to stakeholders.
