  1. Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye) is a country in both Europe and Asia. The area of Turkey is about 780,000 square kilometres.

  2. Turkey is a republic.There are 81 provinces in Turkey. The money of Turkey is called Turkish Lira.

  3. The capital city is Ankara, a city in central Anatolia. The cultural and economic center is Istanbul. In the past Istanbul was called Constantinople.

  4. Modern Turkey has a strong economy. Its warm climate lets many kinds of food crops grow, and livestock and forestry are important industries.

  5. Turkey is one of the countries in the world that can make enough food to feed itself. There is a strong manufacturing sector making airplanes, electronics, cars, clothing and textiles for home and for other countries

  6. These days, Turkey is a popular place for tourists to visit. It has hundreds of kilometers of beautiful beaches on its Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and many important historical places.

  7. About 80 million people live in 7 regions of Turkey. The capital city of Turkey is Ankara. The largest and the most crowded city is Istanbul which is the only city in the world that has land on two different continents.

  8. The third largest city is the coastal city of Izmir which is the main port of the country. Turkey is divided into 81 provinces

  9. Each province has its own little government but they can only decide about small things: the government in Ankara decides about important things.

  10. The provinces are in 7 regions. Each province is divided into districts. There are 923 districts altogether.

  11. Turkey has got many historical and natural beauties which attract lots of people from all over the world

  12. Yalova is a city located in northwestern Turkey, on the eastern coast of the Sea of Marmara, and is the capital of the Yalova Province.

  13. Yalova has a city population of 100.000while the population of the Yalova Province is 200.000

  14. Yalova has many natural beauties and tourist attractions.It is only 45 minutes far a way from Istanbul by ferry.So,it is to go Yalova from different parts of Turkey and world.
