  5. COAST • Aka: The online library catalog • Find materials we have (mainly books) • Find some of the services we offer • Starts with keyword search

  7. Databases • Online tool • Finds SCHOLARLY & RELIABLE articles and article information (citation/reference) • Many full text articles, but not ALL • USE THE SFX BUTTON!!!!! (if available) • Start here for research

  8. Google • Crawls through the web to find web sites • Emphasis is not scholarly • Reliability is an issue too • Great for certain things, but not scholarly research
