Survey Summary • I have been assigned to Teens and according to my survey results most people for there leisure time like to do something new all the time and being around a lot of people and taking risks . • Most teens like snowboarding and skiing as something they would be interested in participating in.

  3. Factors That Would Hinder People From Participating • Dangers • Weather conditions • Some people don’t know how to ski/snowboard or not interested in it

  4. Level of Risk • The level of risk in this activity is pretty high. The risk level would mostly be depending on how you behave or if you follow the rules or not and knowing the proper slopes to go on depending on your level of skiing/snowboarding • The level of risk would much lower if you follow rules, be aware of danger zones and snowboarding /skiing safely

  5. Risks Involved • Factors of risks: • Falling when snowboard or skiing • Colliding with other people • Going out of boundaries leading you to freeze, hypothermia causing a very painful death • Avalanche • Falling off ski lift • Hitting a tree • Most of these situations are caused by a failure to obey the skiing rules and not using common sense

  6. Why people would not be comfortable with these risks • Majority of people are understanding and aware of these risks involving serious medical situations and natural climate affects.

  7. Motivation to go to Whistler • For the thrill of skiing and snowboarding • Putting your self at risk which some people enjoy

  8. Winter and Summer • Whistler Blackcomb is open winter and summer • In the winter it is made for snowboarding and skiing • In the summer they build a mountain bike park which Whistler Blackcomb is also highly known for.
