  6. So, what is a centrum? A central point of contact surrounded by a fully balanced area of function. Look at the white dot, not the ink!!!

Our supposition at this time • Working side guides can be noxious stimuli. • These guides may provoke grinding, bruxing movements. • These movements are stressful to the muscles of mastication and the face. • The movements eccentrically load teeth and dental restorations. • These movements can accelerate the failure of teeth or dental restorations.

  15. Our supposition at this time • Centrum loading results in the most balanced and concentric muscle effort. • There is a diminished tendency to grind or brux when balanced centrums are available to clench. The Most Stable Occlusion for Restoration is Centrum Based
