Serving our LeadersServing one another 2:42: Wednesday Week of Prayer St Peters, Yateley 2007
Worship Jesus: God serving us with endless love with humble authority with patient urgency
Learning: John 13: 1-17 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. No servant is greater than his master; neither is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
Humility is a sign of “greatness” To serve people takes dignity and intelligence. But remember, they're only people with money. And although we serve them, we are not their servants. What we do, Miss Ventura, does not define who we are. What defines us is how well we rise after falling.
St Ignatius of Loyola Teach us, good Lord, to serve you as you deserve: to give, and not to count the cost, to fight, and not to heed the wounds, to toil, and not to seek for rest, to labor, and not to ask for any reward, save that of knowing that we do your will.

Oops – what went wrong? • [One-to-one] "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. • If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. • [Trusted people] But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that `every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. • [Elders/church] If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; • If he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
