2006 RPC Competition • Date: Saturday, November 25, 2006 • Time: 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm • Place: Acadia War Memorial Main Gym.
2006 RPC Competition Your team will be graded on the following: • Competition performance • 3 missions: line tracking, maze, object removal • LEGO parts: 3 motors and 6 sensors (2 touch, 2 light, and 2 rotation). • Design and Technical Knowledge • Creativity and Innovation • Durability and Reliability • Collective understanding • Teamwork • Management and communications
Next Step • Find a coach and think of a team name • Parent, teacher, scout leader, Acadia’s student • Register team • Boys/girls: age group 14-18, 4 person team + coach • $75 - forms are at the RPC website • Get the equipment • Borrow: school, friend • Purchase: Spectrum Educational Supplies • Cost: ~$475 (kit, resources, and software) • Attend a training workshop on October 14
