  2. SX5: YE+1: rearrange LV power distribution, allowing remote operation YE+2: disk moved, last Friday me+2/1/16 fixed me+2/1/15 unreachable (back chamber) Manifold drained. No cooling water today/tomorrow Green Barrack Trigger HE trigger: singles on ME+1, switched of HV on ME+1/2 and ME+1/3, as well as ME+1/1/27 singles rate (CLCT) for six ME+1/1: 40Hz TTC Provides clock and L1a to HE no changes FMM all sTTS outputs hooked up TF-SP and TF-DDU still need to be verified (GB cont’d) FED -- no changes Local DAQ two DAQ PCs. each takes care of 2 spy-channel inputs Per Gbit card a single RUI (instead of two Gbit cards per RUI) Already used for calibration runs Local DAQ mini farm RAID disks arrived emucom01 installed (will take over DDU readout from emuslice02) Global DAQ Some runs last week Tested 4 S-Link runs: LTC(1)+ DCC(2) +TF(1) some confusion on source_ids at the FU level run 105, ~3.3M events, ran for ~15hrs. status

Short term plans • YE+1: ME+1 -- 18 CSCs • finish calibration of all ME+1/3 chambers • Continue to debug chambers that showed problems in recent runs • Global DAQ runs • To do: ME+1/1 HV scan and HE-integration tests (next week?) • YE+2: ME+2/+3 – 18 CSCs • Two crates: 2x9 chambers • Maraton powersupply modification: expect replacement next week. • Redo calibration on all chambers • FED/DAQ (this week) • schedule for a new Global DAQ run • prepare and run new Local DAQ machine • try Iguana live-feed (by global daq) • run live raw2digi (at FU) • switch to Global LTC and integrated RunControl. • Green Barrack (next week) • prepare for recabling/labeling/documenting/clean-up • new wide vertical cable trays

  4. Open Issues • Local DAQ stable running • interfacing: cscSV integration • Peripheral Crate Core Lib • rearrange directory structure (reflect core/applic separation) • documentation … • Local DAQ mini-farm • disks arrived, waiting for powercords • Preparing for switch to Private Network • Preparing (i.e. getting used to) for MTCC-type operations • Operator’s Manual • Safe detector operations: • Always switch off LV on CSCs and all crates • Green Barrack Electronics: • remain switched off until cooling problem is solved • soon emunps01 and emunps2 are available again …

  5. Important Dates • Tuesday AM: no cooling water on YE+2 • ~Thursday: introduce Global LTC. • Friday May 19: Comprehensive MTCC readiness review • hardware and software readiness of each subsystem • No official changes in MTCC schedule.
