On the n front Quite interesting since our last CM • No Virginia, ns do not travel faster than the speed of light (well, maybe in Italy) • But, yes, q13 is large • & we already know its value to excellent precision • The NF is simpler, cheaper, & still blows away the competition • But it is still much more expensive than the competition • Plus in Kyoto • MiniBooNE showed new results on ne/ne-bar appearance. • No longer diff between n and n-bar & significance > 3s (3.8 in combined fit) • Well, Virginia, there are >3 ns? MICE CM 33 June 25-29, 2012

  11. We do indeed live in exciting Times • The next year WILL be exciting! • It Will be stressful but, I hope, very rewarding • 2013 WILL yield the first cooling measurements • And we have a good chance of seeing the final component (RFCC) tested MICE CM 33 June 25-29, 2012
