About Moreland City • The Mayor of Moreland City Council is Cr Lambros Tapinos, he was elected at the Ceremonial Meeting of Council on Monday 15 December 2008. • Moreland council has the responsibility of the roadwork's in their district. One of their biggest Projects was building a bike track along O'hea street. This was very time consuming and cost 2.6 billion dollars. This was also very bad for some businesses along the street. The roadwork's blocked off one of the two entrances to the bakery. The people at the shops were very happy once it was all over.
