  1. Amulet 2 The Stone Keepers Curse Emily must fight off evil creatures in another demention.

  2. SETTING The setting takes place in a place called Kanalis where mystical monsters are thought to be. The main character Emily really doesn’t have a stable home for the time being because she must save her mother from the monster that poised her. Emily must find the sacred fruit to cure her mother before she dies of the poison the monster gave her when it bit her.

  3. CHARACTERS • Emily is a young stone keeper and one of the main characters. • Navin is the brother of Emily and the commander of the army • Elf’s and Elf king are the evil enemies of Emily and her troop which also want to steal her sacred stone.

  4. PLOT • Emily’s mom is poised and Emily and her troop must find the fruit to cure her mother, but not only that but she also has to fight the Elf’s.

  5. RESOLUTION • Emily and her troop find the sacred fruit and saved her mother from dyeing.

  6. OPINION • It was very interesting reading this book because I understood every detail that was talked about in the book. • This book was very relistic to me

  7. AUTHORS LIFE • He is an editor of the popular flight comics anthologies, one of his first novels was Daisy Kutter. He is the creator of Webcomic Copper, lives in Alabama and works in California. He also has a wife named Amy Kim Kibuishi.

  8. QUESTIONS • Why is Emily a stone keeper? • What happened to Emily’s mom? • Who is Navin? • Why are the Elf's after Emily? • How did Emily’s mom get poisoned?

  9. SUMMARY • A young girl [Emily]must become a stone keeper because of a family curse, she has to learn how to control the stone’s power. Emily struggles with many fights involving her and the Elf's. She also faces the fact of her dad dying and her mom getting poisoned.
