New Definition of Level 2 Products: More maps & products in Level 2: • Added extended emission maps (extd maps, • with relative gain correction) to all obs. • Added Destriper diagnostic products to all obs. • Added sso maps (corrected for the object’s • motion) to obs of solar system objects. 

  5. New zeroPointCorrection Task Zero point of extended emission derived from Planck HFI • New task, cross-calibrated with Planck HFI maps. • Can only be run at the HSC until the HFI maps are made public. • The output maps are included in the Level-2 context (extd maps).

New Features in DestriperTask • New parameters: • minVel, maxVel, chanNoise, method, • useOnlyMasks, ignoreDefaultMasks • (to be in synch with naive mapper). • New parameters: • jumpThresh, jumpIter • (for bolometer jump detections). • Two 2nd-level deglitch algorithms: • sigma-kappa & two-sigmas • (caution: 2nd-level deglitching is not • working properly yet) • startParameters (a product): • optional (can speed-up process) • works now (didn’t work before)

  11. Changes on SpireMaskEditor • In HIPE 10, SpireMaskEditor is replaced by: • Level0_5SpireMaskEditor: to handle mask flags for Level0_5 data. • Level1SpireMaskEditor: to display/edit mask flags for Level1 data.

Anticipated Major Changes in HIPE 11 • Including SPIA in HIPE (no plugin anymore) • New flux calibration (new Neptune model) • New extended emission calibration (improved beam areas) • New temperature correction (based on new flux cal.) • New Level 2.5: merged maps of parallel observations • New Level 3: merged maps of overlapping observations 5’
