Objectives for This Session • 1. Understand how skills learned in the classroom can transfer to skills at work. • 2. Learn the 4 top soft skills that employers need in an employees. • 3. Find creative ways to incorporate the soft skills in the classroom, at home, and in the VR relationship.
What is the ultimate goal of secondary school? Post-Graduation SUCCESS!! • What does success look like for our students? • If employment is one of our goals, what does successful employment look like? • Describe a successful employee.

Why is there still such high unemployment? What I noticed… Why were people getting fired/overlooked? Attendance problems. Interactions with co-workers. Not taking correction well. Not focusing on own work. Get the job. Get fired. Rinse and Repeat…
What employers really want: • Be on time, every time. • Get along with your supervisor and coworkers. • Be coachable. • Mind your business.
