Vision Goals Vision and Goals of ISD • Family Services and Housing staff will work together through an integrated, holistic approach to ensure Manitobans have better access to the services they require. • To make it easier for Manitobans to access the services they require. • To better address the needs of Manitobans requiring services.

Key Components of an Integrated Service Delivery System • Accessible program information and application forms at all sites • Integrated reception and referral functions • Co-ordinated intake and case management functions • Service delivery staff organized into interdisciplinary teams based on neighbourhoods or communities • Service coordinators link appropriate services and staff across programs • Consolidated service plans address multiple/complex needs • Managers and team leaders with cross-program responsibilities

Recent ISD Activities • February 2002 - Announcement of new organizational structure at the Divisional level and appointment of Assistant Deputy Ministers • July 2002 - Regional boundaries, organizational structure and process to identify directors announced • September 2002 - Announcement of new directors for the new divisional structure • October 2002 - Construction of River East Access Centre and planning for centres in Transcona and Inkster announced • November 2002 - Allocating resources to new divisional structure in preparation for implementation • December 2002 - Announcement of new organization effective January 6, 2003
