Bones • Bones help you move. When you want to move your bone sends a message to your brain. Then your brain sends the message back to the bone. A muscle contracts to move the bone. That is how you move.
Heart • The heart has four different chambers. The two on the left pump blood into the lungs for oxygen and the two on the left pump it back threw the body.The heart is an involuntary muscle. That means the heart is controlled by the brain without us knowing it.
The Brain • This is a picture of the brain(to the left). The brain is located in the skull. There are three main parts of the brain. They are the medulla, cerebrum, and cerebellum. The brain is one of the most important parts of your body. The brain is divided into to parts. Nerves connect the two brain parts together. The brain is part of a system. The system is called the nervous system.
Blood • The blood is a very important part of your body. In every drop of blood you can find 250,000,000 red blood cells.Red blood cells turn dull red when they hit oxygen.White blood cells fight disease germs. It take about one minute to circulate threw the body.
The Nervous System • The nervous system is a communication network that includes the spinal cord, brain, and nerves. Like when you prick your finger the nerves in the finger send a message threw the spinal cord to the brain and the brain sends a message back to tell you how to react. The spinal cord is millions of nerves that is connect the brain to body parts.
