Meta Search Engine • Is a search engine that searches several search engines and databases and combines it in one list • Also known as a virtual database • Does not collect a library or database of information • It eliminates duplicate listings and provides current and most relevant information first

  3. About Mamma • Launched in 1996 being one of the first meta search engines • Named this way because they are the ‘mamma of all search engine • Today it operates as an ad exchange where advertisers are able increase internet traffic • Since 2009 it is a subsidiary of Corpenic Inc
