ECOSYSTEMS. Organism- A living thing. Individual- One organism. Population- Individuals of the same kind. Community- Different populations in the environment.(all the living things) all the populations of organisms. Habitat comes from the Latin verb meaning “to dwell.”

  6. Habitat comes from the Latin verb meaning “to dwell.” An organism’s habitat is where it dwells or lives. A niche is a certain role that each population has in its habitat. Eagles and owls share the same habitat and food. Eagles hunt during the day and owls at night, different niches. HabitatandNiche
