  1. Geo-fence and Its Effect in Mobile Marketing Not until few years ago desktops are considered the most effective device and it covers most of the market. But now the markets of desktops are mostly covered by mobile device since internet browsing is become so much easier in mobile devices. Lot of companies are integrating in mobile marketing and one of their main strategies is location base technology. In this location base technology the communication between the customer and a brand is done by using a physical location of the brand via mobile device.

Geo-fencing or mobile geo-fencing is a location base service and it create a virtual fence around the geographical location a place such as a store and when a customer enter these fence then the brand generate an action immediately. For example let’s take a certain coffee shop creates a geo-fence of one mile perimeter around its physical perimeter. When a customer enter the in shops one mile perimeter then the coffee shop will automatically know about this and if the customer is opted to receive communication from it then it will automatically send a coupon to the customer. Test your ads: Using geo-fence you can test various ads daily without facing any difficulty and can check which one is more effective. For example you can check if the offer of a free drink attracts more people to your store then the offer of a free snack such as chip.
