  2. Winding wire is also known as enamelled wire as it is coated with a thin layer of insulation or enamel. There is no doubt that enamelling of these wires prevents short circuits even though they are coiled or wound together. Because of the magnetic flux created when they are wound together, these wires are also called magnetic wires.

  3. Both Aluminium as well as Copper winding wires are put to extensive use in the construction of motors, electromagnets, transformers and inductors. Moreover, these wires possess superior electrical, thermal and mechanical properties making them useful in various electrical applications.
