Sen. Alting took a moment to address the crowd as well. He reflected on how Social Workers had personally impacted his life in a positive way. He went on to say, “Thank God for you.”
Sen. Vi Simpson addresses LEAD participants. Senator Simpson discussed several bills, including the issues surrounding property tax caps. She also reminded participants that the Statehouse was our house and we should be heard.
