  8. Garum production (right) and a mosaic of a garum container from the house of Scaurus (we think) in the house of Scaurus in Pompeii.

  9. Garum produced in Pompeii has been found around the empire. It would have been transported in amphorae (pots) like this one. Olive oil and wine would have been stored and transported in a similar way.
