  2. Speaking Practice 老师: 我是Bob的妈妈。 我是Bob的妈妈吗? 学生: 对, 你是Bob的妈妈。

  3. Speaking Practice 老师: 我是Bob的姐姐。 我是Bob的姐姐吗? 学生: 对, 你是Bob的姐姐。 老师: 我是Bob的姐姐。 Bob 是我的哥哥吗? 学生: 不对, Bob不是你的哥哥, Bob是你的弟弟。

  4. Speaking Practice Now, turn around to your neighbor and practice the 六个 immediate family members for 三分钟. Afterward, get ready for some similar Q&A speaking practice / (assessment).

  5. Tīng Xiě • Take out half sheet of paper. Write down your CHINESE name on top. Look up when you are done. • 老师 will pronounce the immediate family members, you are responsible to write down the pinyin (for writing grade) and the meaning in English (for listening grade)

  7. Take a look at the following characters / pinyin / meaning, remember where everything is located.

  8. Find the corresponding pin yin and meaning!

  9. Survey 谁有姐姐? 谁有两个姐姐? 谁有三个姐姐? 谁有四个姐姐?

  10. Survey 谁有一个哥哥? 谁有两个哥哥? 谁有三个哥哥? 谁有四个哥哥?

  11. Homework • Complete the worksheet. • Character practice (爸, 妈, 哥, 弟, 姐, 妹, 爷, 奶, 公, 婆), due on 3/4 • Be ready for quizzes!
