Purpose, Method, Outcomes We are bringing together service providers, government leaders, law enforcement, public health representatives, housing leaders, developers, homeless advocates, homeless and recently housed individuals, community and neighborhood groups, and educators for a summit on housing and houseless individuals and families. Purpose •Share experiences •Enhance the public’s knowledge •Workshop ideas related to preventing homelessness and housing the unhoused Method •Facilitated process for residents to connect, listen, share and engage in a civil environment Outcomes •Deeper understanding of the issues and solutions related to homelessness •Experience of productive conversation among people with different points of view •Identify next steps for community involvement •A community report on the Summit to be shared with the County Board of Supervisors, county and community agencies, and the public at large
