In the Beginning • Higher Educational Institutions created Emergency Management positions And it was good.
In the Beginning • These positions were filled by experienced Emergency Managers And it was also good • The newly hired Emergency Managers knew each other which made it easier to facilitate meetings which begot collaborations…… • And that was very good.
THEEMC is born • A working group is formed that would not elect positions but would agree to meet on a regular basis. • Meeting locations would rotate and offer a chance to learn more about the host school.
