Key Skills (embedded within FT provision for 16-19 year olds) – ca. 1000 students Stand-alone Commercial Courses (ECDL, MOUS, MCP, Cisco) over 4000 students CITI Map North-West Institute of Further & Higher Education On campus delivery ICT skills training embedded into the curriculum - ca. 500 students Library Information Resource Awareness Course – ca. 200-600 students Types and Modes of ICT Skills Provision Online Courses – ca. 100 students ICT courses offered by the Business Learning Centre – ca. 600 clients Needs analysis for all learners prior to course commencement 2 hour ICT & BlackBoard induction for all new FT students (will commence in 2002-03) = Delivery in outreach centres (ca 2000 students) = Delivery at the main campus (ca. 4000 students) Note: The mode of attendance, level of mandatory completion and course duration varies considerably between courses and is regulated by the academic departments and the awarding bodies
