POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH EXCELLENCE SYMPOSIUM (PGReS) AIM: To assist students in achieving excellence in research. PGReS 2012 was held on the 26th September 2012 at Grand BlueWave Hotel, Shah Alam, Selangor. Participants: 51 paper presenters and 10 poster presenters. One of the PGReS objectives is to provide a venue for our students to exercise the sharing of knowledge, while improving their presentation skills.

FACULTY FACILITIES • At FCSIT, our classrooms and laboratories are equipped with sophisticated computers and audio-visual tools. • Our wireless networks are available from any classrooms, laboratories and the foyers of the faculty’s building. • Our e-learning system called Spectrum is used intensively in the delivery of all courses. • The faculty has its own library, canteen and surau and there is shuttle bus service in campus. • All students are privileged to access UM’s library and other well known digital libraries for free. • Students also have free access to UM Sports Centre and many more.
