Suggestions for Preservation Policy1 • Social: Mission, objective and purpose • Technical: Standards, such as file format, metadata, and so forth. • Strategic • Digital approach, or • Microform: archives, or • Original physical objects, such as films, or • Hybrid: digital and traditional • Political: 3rd party’s collaboration • Financial • The seed and initiative fund is required.

  16. Suggestions for Preservation Policy2 • Backup is the main approach to digital preservation right now. However, a deeper and whole-grained digital preservation is needed to define. • Web archiving will include into the 2nd round survey in the near future.
