1 more way to prove triangles congruent…but its only for right triangles!!!!! Hypotenuse-Leg (HL) Theorem – If the hypotenuse and a leg of one right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and leg of another right triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
HL Theorem (Hypotenuse-Leg Theorem) • To use the HL Theorem, you must have all three: • 2 right triangles • Congruent hypotenuses • 1 pair of congruent legs
