  3. TRIAD – An Overview • Sheriff partners with police chiefs within their localities • Partners with senior citizen groups • Partners with community/service groups • Stop criminal victimization of the elderly • Work to enhance the quality of life for all senior citizens in their localities

In Conclusion • TRIAD promotes volunteerism • Raises crime & safety awareness among older residents • Opens doors of communication between older residents & law enforcement • Gets senior citizens involved in their community • Opens the door to great programs & information geared primarily for senior citizens • Is a win-win for any community
