Amazonia Goals Goal #1: Amazonia Elementary will increase student achievement in Communication Arts and Math focusing on Missouri Learning Standards. • Professional Development (Identifying priority standards, proficiency based learning, Missouri Learning Standards) • STAR Assessment Data • Parent Informational Nights • AR Reading Program • RtI (Response to Intervention) / Differentiated Instruction • Data Cycles • Student Data Notebooks - Student Goal Setting • Book Study • Job Embedded Collaboration (vertical teaming, Child Success Teams, etc...) • Parent Teacher Conferences • Tutoring • Possibly hold summer school at our building for Summer 2016
Amazonia Goals Goal #2: Amazonia Elementary will increase student engagement by using variety of active learning strategies in classroom instruction. • Book Study • Active Learning Professional Development opportunities for staff • Focus on Kagan structures during collaboration and professional development Goal #3: Amazonia Elementary will implement the new Missouri Educator Evaluation Model to increase teacher effectiveness. • Professional Development on writing effective growth plans • Professional Development on developing student learning objectives • Administrator providing specific feedback on instructional strategies

Minnie Cline Goals Goal #2 MC teachers will engage in discussions on proven research and data practices that increase student achievement.
