DPCC Categories & Classification of Business Activities Categories Classification Of Delhi Polluton Control Committee: The industries in Delhi has been classified in Red, Orange, Green, and white category as per the list, indicating the classification of 649 industries as per new guidelines. The industries categorized under Red, Orange and Green category only need to apply for Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) under the Air & Water Act. The industries categorized under white category are not required to obtain Consent to establish and operate, it is required only to intimate Delhi Pollution Control Committee(DPCC) within 30 days from Establishment of business with an undertaking. authority (Delhi Pollution Control Committee) for grant of Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) Procedure for DPCC Consent/NOC After setting up the required waste management facilities, the applicant is required to make an application in Form-I, to State Pollution Control Board for grant of Consent to Establish or grant of Consent to operate. The DPCC uon the receipt of the application will make inquiries and inspections as demanded by the predefined code of procedures. After it is satisfied that the applicant possesses the necessary capacity to handle bio-medical waste in accordance with the Rules, it will grant or renew the consent as the case may be. The DPCC authorization is provided for a period of 5 years, after which the it is to be renewed. What is the Govt fee for DPCC Consent for private health care establishments? For clinics, Path Labs and Blood Banks Rs. 1000/-per annum. For Vet.Instt., Dispensaries & Animal Houses Rs. 1000/- per annum. For Hospitals,Nursing Homes &Health Care Establishments upto 4 beds Rs. 1000/- per annum and additional Rs. 100 per bed per annum from fifth bed onwards. For Operator of the facility of Bio Medical Waste(excluding transportation), Rs.10,000/-per annum.
