National Landscape • NCAA Certification 2010 process is a LIVING 10 year process: • Weave Strategic Plan into this process • Ever-changing Fiscal Environment • Ever-changing NCAA Legislative Processes • New Technologies Local Landscape • Student Athlete Well-being • Ever-changing Fundraising Landscapes • Conference Initiatives • Sports Priorities/Facilities

Strategic Planning Process • Listen and cull all sports programs’ priorities (Spring 2012) • Develop overall SWOT (Summer 2012) • Announce Strategic Priorities (Fall 2012) • Implementation begins immediately for items that cost nothing or issues that can be addressed by a reduction elsewhere • Functional Unit Sub Plans due March 30, 2013 • Restructure all Functional Organizational Meetings to include Strategic Planning Touch in each w Exec Staff as a cornerstone • Strategic Plan update becomes AAC standing agenda item (Spring 2013)

Strategic Priorities 2012-2017 • STUDENT ATHLETE WELFARE/PERFORMANCE • Sports Medicine, Academic Support, Sports Performance Center (SPC), Everyday Champions Leadership Institute • NCAA Compliance Education/Engagement • (Continued AAC Involvement via Student Athlete Welfare Committee) • WE C/A/R/E – Staff Development and Retention • Invest in what we have and WHO WE ARE • Professional Dev • Diversity Initiative (AAC/OEI) • FUNDRAISING/REVENUE GENERATION • Increase 15% FY 2013-2014 • MARKETING • Increase Revenue 3% Annually • FOOTBALL • Establish a Strong National Brand (Winning, Hard Working, Integrity, etc). • FACILITIES • Prioritization w respect to Strategic Plan
