Keeping the Focus on Patients REACH East: • 3006 providers enrolled • Currently, 4,130,547 unique patients will receive the benefits of REC services • 11,249,484 annual encounters
REACH East Impact in SE PA • 1596 Providers enrolled in 5 county region (53% of East total) • 2,076,653 unique patients in these counties (50% of East total) • 6,222,463 annual patient encounters (55% of East total)
Medicare & Medicaid ER Incentives Payments to PA REACH Providers • Medicare EHR Incentive Program • As of 1/06/12, PA REACH providers have received $720,000 in incentive payments • Medicaid EHR Incentive Program • As of 1/06/12, PA REACH providers have received $1,865,417 in incentive payments • As of 1/6/12, DPW has made (or are in the process of making) payments of $34,141,698 for EPs and $61,572,627 for EHs
Recognizing Meaningful Use Vanguards (MUVers) • 5 MUVer Ceremonies held across the state; 2 ceremonies in Southeast PA • ONC, CMS, DPW, State HIE and local officials in attendance to honor providers leading the transformation of care
Ongoing Activities • Regular communication with stakeholders • Calls with DPW every two weeks • Ongoing discussions for sustainable work • Collaboration for A/I/U attestation issues • CMS ongoing assistance with MU questions • Collaboration with State HIE
