This session presents preliminary feedback on the analysis of Article V reports relating to significant pollutants, monitoring, sources and pressures, risk assessment, reduction measures, data gaps, and transition to the Water Framework Directive. The main conclusions and open questions regarding substances and guidances are discussed. Data mining is emphasized to prioritize chemical substances, implement new data collection methods, and optimize available sources. The workshop explores existing River Basin Districts and assessment reports from multiple Member States.
