Introduction • There are many diseases that may happen to the heart that changes the heartbeat rhythm like bradycardia and tachycardia. • They need certain devices to correct rhythm of the heartbeat Like pacemaker .
What is Pacemaker? A pacemaker is a small device that's placed in the chest or abdomen to help control abnormal heart rhythms. This device uses electrical pulses to helpthe heart to beat at a normal rate.
Types of pacemaker 1-Temporary external pacemaker:
On Demand Pacemaker Our project is a pacemaker that connected to timing circuit in order to turn off the pacemaker when normal heartbeat rate detected

Main Components of the circuit 1- Voltage regulator. 2-Astable Multivibrator. 3-Monostable Multivibrator. 4-Output Circuit. 5-Timing Circuit.
Voltage regulator -The voltage regulator changes the output to a certain value (in this circuit 5 V) . -The potentiometer used to adjust the voltage we need .
AstableMultivibrator The astablemultivibrator is used to produce the pulses that we are need it in the pacemaker the function of the variable resistor to rate adjustment.
MonostableMultivibrator The main function of the monostablemultivibrator is to shape the pulse , it's only work when a pulses deliver it to it. the function of the potentiometer to pulse width adjustment.
Output Circuit • Output circuit produces the electrical stimuli to be applied to the heart • the transistor is turned on and off according to the pulses from the monostablemultivibrator
Timing Circuit • .
