Supplementary Figure 1. a b c b Baculovirus-mediated transgene expression in the brain of nude mice. Baculoviral vectors containing the HSV thymidine kinase gene (107 plaque-forming units) were injected into the striatum of Balb c/Nude mice. The brain was collected 2 days post-injection and stained with antibody against the HSV thymidine kinase. Images were taken under a fluorescence microscope. (a) A low power image to show the position of the transduced region. (b) A high power image to show the whole region in the box indicated in (a). (c) A highly magnified region of the transduced tissue indicates a spread of baculovirus of at least 250 µm.
