Rationale • Following consultation with key stakeholders. • In designing the lot strategy a national and regional approach has been adopted to address the needs of Central Government Departments and the WPS; this will ensure that the model is capable of enabling the delivery of sufficient capacity through access to a wider pool of qualified and competent interpreters to deal with the increasing and varied volume of demand. • The regional approach addresses the customers localised agenda and given the nature and requirement for face to face services this is more effective and cost efficient. • For the first time customers will have the opportunity to bring together all services under a single MSP who will be responsible for supplying end to end language service solutions.
