Coasts The coasts are where land meets the ocean. In America we have the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.
Deserts • Deserts are dry. • Strong wind blows. • Cactus grow in the desert.
Mountains • I am so big and bright. I am a wonderful sight. Under me, a valley will be. • In America you will find the Rocky and the Appalachian mountains.
Valleys • I have animals but the animals leave when people come. Up high in the air I see what I’m in, I am in between mountains so big but that doesn't scare me. I’m a valley.
Plains • The plains have tall, tall grass that grows. The plains are in the middle of North America. The plains are mostly covered with grass. The plains have farmers that plant corn and wheat.
