  2. Vietnam looks like a bamboo pole with a rice basket on each end. The "rice baskets" are the two areas of a fertile delta. The "bamboo pole" is a narrow strip of land connecting North and South Vietnam.

  3. Vietnam’s has many natural resources such as gas deposits, forests, hydropower, and fish.

  4. Family life is the most important aspect of a Vietnamese culture.

  5. Long Bay is considered to be the most beautiful vista in entire Vietnam. It consists of 1,969 islands and islets situated in the Gulf of Tonkin.

  6. People enjoy playing musical instruments and having any number of friendly contests.

  7. The Capital of Vietnam is Hanoi

  8. Before the Red and Mekong rivers empty into the sea, they dump rich nutrients onto the soil. These deposits form a triangle-shaped area called a delta.

  9. Vietnam also produces phosphates, coal, manganese, bauxite, chromate, offshore oil

  10. Vietnam is a communist state led by a president, a prime minister, his deputies, and 19-member Government Council.

  11. Kids in Vietnam to play hide-and-seek, dodge ball, and they make their own toys and games out of anything handy.
