Systems Engineering- the good, the bad, and the really ugly Abstract Having been involved in development efforts with Radars, Satellites, Government customers, International customers, and organizations that were SEI level 5 rated and those that wished they were, there are lessons learned from each that can be applied to any development effort. This discussion will focus on the lessons learned and how they were applied. Biography Deb McKenney is the Manager of Process Development and Deployment in Engineering and Technology at Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA. She is new to Rockwell Collins having spent 25+ years at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer for a Communications Satellite program, and as the Systems Engineering Manager for Ground-based Radar programs and the Advanced Hawkeye Airborne Radar program.
